Happy Birthday T! (Nov 18, 2011)
It was an all week planned surprise, and it was a success.
Well, the plan was to surprise our Team Lead, My Pajarillaga, days before her birthday, and it was accomplished!

The plan was fulfilled as both VMA and BAU friends worked side-by-side to keep this under the radar. We coordinated through emails, and small talks, and took advantage of the high avail times, to discuss how we will pull this off!
On the day itself it was agreed that we will wear red (one of our T’s fave colors) however, to our surprise, she wore something greenish-blue! Haha! The thing was held in the 4th floor pantry, of IBM Building F, and we were joined by our Manager Cecil (Thanks Boss!).
Food was amazing - again, I was busog to say the least. Pansit, BBQ, kutsinta (Thanks Russel! Hahaha!) and, of course, the immortal Birthday staple, the cake, were served and were the product of our contributions! We had more food than we expected - we were almost flooded with left-overs.

Personally, I was glad to know that T was very happy and that she did not see this coming - well, a surprise isn’t a surprise if she knew all about the plan right?
My has been one of those rare colleagues that I met, and have worked with, in the short span of my work year (and counting) here in IBM. She’s purely professional, broad-minded, and has excellent work ethic - something that is amazing for someone as “young” as she is.

If she had not made efforts to bring the group together, we would not have the chance to bond as a team, and work with one another. She made office work fun, light and hassle-free. I know how she worked so hard to get to wherever she is right now, so I’m happy that we had the chance to share the moment on this day as we celebrated her Birthday!

Lea T is one of the most fascinating models alive. She has been in several different magazine editorials and covers (Vogue Paris and LOVE Magazne to name a few) and has been one of the faces for Givenchy.
